Declare your love with a personalised commitment ceremony

A commitment is a pledge or a promise to a person you have chosen to share your life with. It is an emotional contract, a spiritual bond and a sacred trust given with love in your heart. Love is something that knows no boundaries and is not exclusively available to one and withheld from another.

Commitment ceremonies provide same sex couples the same opportunities as heterosexual couples to publicly express their love and commitment to one another.

A meaningful alternative to marriage

A legal marriage may not suit everyone and this ceremony also provides a solution for couples in relationships that for personal reasons choose not to enter into a legally binding commitment to marriage.

The joy, respect and love of a Commitment ceremony is as strong as that of a marriage. It is an occasion to share with friends and family, and announce to the world that you love one another and are committing yourselves to each other in a bond of love.

As your celebrant, I will work with you to design a service suited to you, and a Certificate of Commitment will be presented to you at the end of the ceremony.
